Leslie Middle School is a 106,000 sf new middle school housing 1,000 students and was built to replaced the existing middle school. Leslie is a two-story steel structure with exterior brick and an entry cupola.
Leslie was a fast-track project due to scheduled completion in time for the new school year. Pence/Kelly began the concrete foundations before the building design was complete. An “Outstanding Construction Firm” commendation was issued by the Salem-Keizer School District for a job well done.
